Thirsty beings (2021)

Floating, we are at one with the outer sea: I am a unique, powerful current that dissolves in the vortex. The space within me, between what I think of as myself and what is also part of me, is at once as distant as the sea, and yet closer than my own skin. Floating, we are not separated and isolated from the rest of nature. Everything flows through me, and is for a moment what I call I.

Here, water seeps between bodies. The water comes from bodies that are beyond us, former bodies and future bodies. The idea of the self begins to dissolve as soon as we open up to the beauty of dilution.
